Building a better Liberian entertainment industry, not just the biggest and most celebrated event. With support of Liberian entertainment constantly in the news, it's easy to forget that hosting an event alone isn't enough to lead this industry. Liberian artists, actor(ess), film makers, producers and community crusaders are not waiting for an award; they're waiting for an organization that is committed to making the industry better. To that end, we've taken a look at every part of the experience - from music and movie production to its distribution and marketing - and dedicated ourselves to constantly improving it. That's an ambitious goal, especially when other countries are far ahead, but the biggest advantage to this industry have always been TALENT. So while we're proud to have hosted another successful award ceremony, we won't rest until Liberia is the capital of entertainment. See you February 2, 2013 in Maryland for the 5th year.

Many thanks to all those who came from far and near to celebrate with us our Liberian heritage, culture, entertainment and humanitarian services at the Ferst Center-Georgia Tech, GA. We are truly grateful for your support and were encouraged that you share our vision of seeing Liberians excel in all aspects. 2011 was a challenging year for us, we thank each and every one of your for your undivided support and love. We applaud the artists for bringing forth great entertainment and we have a newfound appreciation for what they are striving to do with their talents and skills. We’d like to, again, congratulate all of our nominees and ask that you please continue the great work being done within your communities. This ceremony would not have been possible without our Liberian Entertainment Awards contractors, consultants and volunteers. Many thanks to you all.
