C.I.C (Commander In Chief) birth name Maurice Terziq Gayflor is a Liberian Kolo-pop Artiste Born in Brewerville, Montserrado County Liberia. He was born July 23 1994 of parents Maurice Gayflor(Father) and Martha Hayes(Mother). C.I.C attended the seventh Day Adventist High School and was later accepted into The University of Liberia where he is currently majoring in Mining Engineering. Before becoming an Artist, C.I.C was a member of the Zion grove Baptist church choir and later became inspired by Scientific (Liberian Hip-Hop Artist) to become an artist himself. With much love for his culture and local language C.I.C decided to brand a new style call KOLO-POP,an afro pop style but strictly coloqua. . I feel as though i brought a new taste of Music to the scene. Kolo-pop is strictly Liberian and is the first of its kind the Nation has ever seen, I believe this style brings back the true Liberian flavor, making it easier for even the common man to understand each and every line. C.I.C has been an artist of the SOG RECORDS Empire (An Independent Record Label Located in Liberia) since 2012. He has performed on big platforms and featured many Liberian Artists Such as Mr. Smith, Liberia’s Vice Presidents Son TanTanB.
